On May 19, it took place at ISEP the 2nd Eco Environment Seminar with the theme Economical Waste Return.

The event was welcomed by José Barros de Oliveira, Vice-President of ISEP, Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, and Luís Durão, Director of the “Mechanical Engineering” course, who opened the event.

We had the presence of renowned speakers such as Cristina Ribeiro - researcher of INEGI -, António Martins - researcher of FEUP -, Ricardo Furtado - General Manager of Valorcar -, Sandra Ribeiro from Environment Department of Continental, and Nídia Caetano from ISEP.

We would like to thank all speakers, the entities that cooperate with us and the public who contribute for the seminar success.

The implicit message was that there are companies that develop good processes for making the most of waste and that we need to continue to raise people's awareness of this change in mentality and attitude.
